The much-awaited project featuring Jr NTR and director Prashanth Neel has officially kicked off its shoot. After a brief schedule in February, the team is now gearing up for the next phase in Karnataka, where Jr NTR will join the shoot for some high-octane action sequences. A recent social media post shared a thrilling picture of Jr NTR and Prashanth Neel standing together on a beach in Mangalore, fueling fan excitement even further. The caption, "Two MASS ENGINES ready to wreck it all from tomorrow," further ignited anticipation for this action-packed venture.
After completing a four-day shoot in February, the team is back in Mangalore, where filming will resume on April 22nd. Jr NTR is set to shoot an intense action sequence in Kunta, Mangalore, which is expected to set the tone for the film's high-energy drama. The film, rumored to be titled Dragon, is being shot on a grand scale with action sequences that promise to be as intense as Prashanth Neel's earlier blockbusters, such as KGF and Salaar.
Produced by Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts, the film is expected to be released in multiple languages, with music composed by Ravi Basrur. While official confirmations about the cast are still awaited, there is speculation that Rukmini Vasanth may play the female lead.
In addition to his work with Prashanth Neel, Jr NTR is gearing up for his Bollywood debut in War 2, set for release on August 14, 2025, where he will portray a grey-shaded character. Meanwhile, his recent film Devara: Part 1 has been gaining international attention, with a theatrical release planned in Japan, adding to the growing global anticipation for his work in both War 2 and his upcoming collaboration with Neel.
