In it, the Evil Eye takes over Jiji’s body, leading to an epic showdown between Okarun and the possessed Jiji. The stakes escalate as Momo and Turbo Granny join Okarun to fight the spirit that has long been hungering for human blood.

Directed by Fuga Yamashiro, with Abel Gongora stepping in for season two, the anime retains much of its original creative team. Kensuke Ushio returns to compose the music, and Hiroshi Seko continues overseeing the series composition. Dan Da Dan season two will be available for streaming on Netflix and Crunchyroll starting July 3.

The series revolves around Momo, a high schooler from a family of spirit mediums, and her classmate Okarun, an occult enthusiast. Their clash over the existence of ghosts versus aliens leads them to an unexpected discovery: both spirits and extraterrestrials are real. Momo unlocks a hidden power, while Okarun becomes cursed, and together they face the paranormal forces threatening their world.

The Dan Da Dan manga, created by Yukinobu Tatsu, has been serialized on Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ digital platform since April 2021. With 19 volumes released in Japan and an English edition available through VIZ Media, the series continues to captivate readers worldwide.
