Four new features have been added to WhatsApp Status, including new layout and audio options

WhatsApp is really leveling up its Status feature with these four new interactive tools aimed at making sharing more creative and fun:

1. Layout for Collages
   Users can now combine up to six photos into a single collage right inside WhatsApp. It’s like having mini photo albums or event highlights that are visually engaging — similar to what Instagram offers, but built straight into Status.

2. Song Sharing & Music Stickers
   Beyond just posting text or images, you can now add songs to your Status or create music stickers that overlay your favorite track onto a photo or selfie. This adds an audio dimension, making your updates way more dynamic.

3. Photo Stickers
   This lets you turn any photo into a customizable sticker. You can crop, resize, or shape it before adding it to your Status. It’s perfect for making your posts more personal and expressive without leaving the app.

4. Add Yours
   Inspired by popular interactive formats on Facebook and Instagram, this feature lets you post a prompt along with your photo or video (like “Best coffee moment” or “Throwback pic”). Friends can then respond by adding their own photos or videos, creating a fun collaborative thread within your Status.

Importantly, Meta emphasizes that all these new features keep WhatsApp’s strong commitment to end-to-end encryption and user privacy intact.
