Priyanka Chopra Packs a Punch on 'The Tonight Show'; Talks Motherhood, Stunts, and 'Heads of State'
Global icon Priyanka Chopra Jonas brought her signature charm and strength to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where she showcased her fist-fighting skills in a playful moment with the host. In a promo released on June 20, the 42-year-old actor was seen laughing with Fallon as she warned, “Take it easy,” during a mock face-off.
In the full episode, Chopra delves into her journey as a mother, reveals why she always keeps surgical glue in her stunt bag, and promotes her upcoming action-comedy Heads of State, co-starring Idris Elba and John Cena. The film, set for release on Prime Video on July 2, follows two rival world leaders and an MI6 agent who must join forces to prevent a global catastrophe. Chopra plays Noel Bisset, the sharp and capable MI6 agent who attempts to keep peace between the UK Prime Minister (Elba) and the US President (Cena).
Chopra, no stranger to stunts, first gained major Hollywood attention through her lead role in Quantico, where she played FBI agent Alex Parrish. Her fearless performances and intense action sequences earned her widespread acclaim.
Beyond Heads of State, Chopra is currently filming SSMB29, an ambitious project directed by SS Rajamouli. The film features Mahesh Babu and R. Madhavan and promises to be one of India’s biggest cinematic spectacles.
