The event was special as it featured the film’s cast—10 debut actors with special needs—highlighting the inclusive spirit of the project. The intimate gathering included notable guests like Ranbir Kapoor, cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, and the acclaimed music trio Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy, underscoring the warmth and camaraderie surrounding the film.
Sitaare Zameen Par marks Aamir Khan’s return to cinema and acts as a spiritual sequel to his 2007 classic Taare Zameen Par. Directed by RS Prasanna, the movie is a sports comedy-drama where Aamir portrays a basketball coach mentoring a team of differently-abled kids. Genelia Deshmukh stars alongside him, and the film—an adaptation of the Spanish hit Campeones—is set for release on June 20.
Meanwhile, Kapil Sharma is gearing up for his own comeback with the third season of The Great Indian Kapil Show premiering on Netflix on June 21. He’s also working on Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 and an upcoming film that will mark the acting debut of Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, sister of Ranbir Kapoor.
