Tragically, the flight crashed minutes after takeoff from Ahmedabad, plunging into a residential area and engulfing a medical hostel in flames.
His nephew, Krish Jagdish Patolia, told India Today:
“He had a ticket on AI171. He was supposed to go to London, but the accident happened… It’s heartbreaking. We have lost both of them in one week.”
