Revanth Reddy is invited by Nagarjuna to attend the wedding of his younger son Akhil Akkineni-Zainab

Nagarjuna recently invited Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to his son Akhil Akkineni’s upcoming wedding at their Jubilee Hills residence. A warm and candid photo capturing Nagarjuna, his wife Amala, Zainab Ravdjee’s parents, and the Chief Minister went viral on social media, reflecting the joyful pre-wedding celebrations in the Akkineni family. This will be the second wedding in the family recently, following Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala’s wedding earlier this year.

Akhil, who is Nagarjuna’s son with actress Amala and half-brother to Naga Chaitanya, got engaged to Zainab Ravdjee last November. He announced the engagement on Instagram, calling her his “forever.”

Zainab hails from an influential family—she is the daughter of Zulfi Ravdjee, a well-known industrialist in construction, and her brother Zain Ravdjee heads a renewable energy company, ZR Renewable Energy Pvt Ltd. Zainab is also a noted artist, recognized for her abstract and impressionist works, and had a major art exhibition called "Reflections" in Hyderabad. Before dedicating herself to art, she even had a brief stint in acting, notably appearing in the film Meenaxi: A Tale of Three Cities, associated with MF Hussain.

The wedding is set for June 6, 2025. Meanwhile, Akhil is gearing up for his next film, Lenin, directed by Kishore Abburu.
