A Mumbai politician's inebriated son assaults an influencer on camera after crashing into her vehicle

An FIR has been registered at Amboli police station in Mumbai after Marathi social media influencer and actress Rajshree More was allegedly misbehaved with by Rahil Javed Shaikh, the son of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) leader Javed Shaikh.

The incident came to light when Rajshree, known to be a close friend of actress Rakhi Sawant, posted a video on social media showing Rahil hitting her car. The video also captured a heated argument between the two following the collision. Rajshree claimed she felt threatened and proceeded to lodge a police complaint, demanding strict action. The Amboli police have begun an investigation.

This altercation occurred shortly after Rajshree had already drawn attention for a controversial video she posted weeks ago, in which she questioned efforts to enforce the Marathi language in Maharashtra. In that video, she suggested that local Marathi people should be encouraged to work harder and warned that the community’s condition might worsen if migrants left Mumbai.

Her remarks provoked a strong backlash, especially from MNS workers in Versova, who filed a complaint against her at the Oshiwara police station. Following the outrage, Rajshree publicly apologised and took down the video.

This recent clash with a political figure’s son has once again put her in the spotlight.
