Fans describe Ranveer Singh as a beast in the new spy thriller Dhurandhar 1st Look X

Actor Ranveer Singh turned his birthday into a cinematic celebration by unveiling the first look of his upcoming film ‘Dhurandhar’, a spy-thriller that has already stirred massive buzz across social media.

In the teaser, Ranveer appears in a rugged avatar—long hair, intense expression, and high-octane action sequences—setting the tone for what fans are calling his “most powerful role yet.” Set in the 1970s during Indo-Pak tensions, Dhurandhar tells the story of India’s first undercover agent, played by Ranveer, who pioneers covert operations in a turbulent era.

The 2-minute 39-second teaser is filled with gritty visuals, dramatic tension, and a Punjabi BGM that underscores Ranveer’s raw, desi energy. Netizens were quick to react:

  • Ranveer Singh really dropped that teaser and said ‘choke, babes!’” one fan raved, praising his artistic intensity.

  • Another exclaimed, “‘Ghayal hu isliye Ghatak hu’—this ain’t just a movie, it’s a storm coming!

  • One post summed it up as "Fantastic, excited for this one!" sharing stills of Ranveer and Akshaye Khanna in fierce form.

The ensemble cast is equally star-studded, featuring Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, and Akshaye Khanna—all unveiled in the teaser with brooding, battle-hardened looks that hint at a gripping, action-heavy narrative.

Ranveer also built intrigue ahead of the reveal by wiping his entire Instagram feed a day before his birthday, fueling speculation and heightening anticipation for the announcement.

Directed, written, and produced by Aditya Dhar (best known for Uri: The Surgical Strike), the film is co-produced by Lokesh Dhar and Jyoti Deshpande. ‘Dhurandhar’ is slated for release on December 5, 2025.

Fans have hailed it as Ranveer’s grand return to high-octane cinema, and early signs suggest Dhurandhar could be a major box-office and critical milestone in his career.
