The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) is introducing a new single-entry unified tourist visa that will let travelers move freely across all six member nations — United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Oman. This major travel development, confirmed by GCC Secretary General Jassem Al Budaiwi, reflects the Gulf nations’ efforts to promote regional tourism and economic integration.
Key Features of the New GCC Unified Tourist Visa:
-
Coverage: One visa will allow entry into all six GCC countries.
-
Purpose: For tourism and family visits only.
-
Validity: Expected to range from 30 to 90 days.
-
Application: Fully online via an official portal (to be announced).
-
Options: Travelers can choose between a visa for a single country or multiple.
-
Cost & Simplicity: Anticipated to be more affordable and convenient than applying for multiple visas.
