CCTV footage has captured a disturbing incident in Punjab’s Moga district, where three masked men attempted to assault a bank manager at his rented residence. The visuals show the men arriving in a white vehicle, stepping out cautiously before approaching the manager’s door. One of them knocked, and as soon as the manager appeared to open it, he gestured for the others to prepare. At that moment, the accomplices retrieved wooden sticks from the car, clearly signaling their intent to carry out a premeditated attack.
As the manager, dressed casually in a vest and shorts, opened the door, one of the masked men grabbed him forcefully and dragged him outside. The others immediately began striking him with sticks in a brutal assault. Despite being overpowered initially, the bank manager struggled desperately to free himself. In the midst of the chaos, he managed to push himself back inside and shut the door, preventing the attackers from entering further and causing more harm.
The assailants, undeterred, continued raining blows through the partially open gate while the manager pleaded and attempted to close it fully. After a tense struggle, he succeeded in bolting the gate, saving himself from serious injury. Frustrated, the masked men tried repeatedly to force the gate open, but when their attempts failed, they abandoned the scene and sped away in their vehicle.
Police officials later confirmed that the incident was recorded clearly on CCTV cameras installed at the residence. Based on this footage, a case has been filed, and an investigation is underway. Authorities have assured that the attackers will soon be tracked down and brought into custody. The chilling footage, however, highlights the boldness of such criminal attempts and the narrow escape the manager had from what could have been a far more dangerous outcome.
