UP A woman's body is disfigured in front of her husband after she dies in a bike-truck crash

A tragic road accident in Uttar Pradesh’s Hapur district has left the community in shock, after a woman named Anuradha, 35, lost her life in a gruesome collision on Thursday. She was on her way to the market with her husband, Hariom, to shop for Karwa Chauth, when their motorcycle was hit by a truck on the Dhaulana-Gulawathi road.

As per eyewitnesses, the truck driver lost control of the vehicle while attempting to swerve around a deep pothole, which led to the fatal crash. The impact was so powerful that Anuradha died on the spot, while her husband sustained critical injuries and was immediately rushed to the hospital.

The accident took a horrifying turn when the victim’s body was mutilated upon impact. Onlookers were left stunned as her heart reportedly continued beating for a few moments even after being severed from her body. The disturbing visuals of the aftermath have triggered outrage and sorrow across the region.

Police soon reached the site and sent Anuradha’s remains for post-mortem examination. Authorities detained the truck driver for questioning and began a formal investigation into the sequence of events that led to the tragedy.

The news sparked protests among locals and relatives, who gathered at the accident site demanding accountability. Circle Officer (CO) Pilkhuwa, Anita Chauhan, arrived at the spot to control the situation and assured the public that strict action would be taken following the probe.

Residents have voiced anger at the administration, accusing officials of negligence over the poor condition of the Dhaulana-Gulawathi road. They claim repeated appeals for road repairs have gone unanswered, despite multiple accidents in recent months caused by potholes and uneven surfaces.

The accident has reignited public debate about the deteriorating state of roads in Uttar Pradesh and the lack of effective maintenance, which continues to claim innocent lives. Locals are urging the government to take immediate steps to repair the damaged stretch and implement stronger road safety measures to prevent such tragedies in the future.
