Wilkins, Kash Patel's girlfriend, makes fun of a rumor that he requested an FBI escort for a buddy

A report alleging that FBI Director Kash Patel misused federal agents to chauffeur his girlfriend’s friend home after nights of drinking has been forcefully rejected by everyone involved — the FBI, Patel, and Patel’s girlfriend, country singer Alexis Wilkins.

The allegations, published by MSNOW, suggested Patel repeatedly ordered members of Wilkins’ protective detail to act as drivers for an intoxicated friend in Nashville, overriding agents who objected that the requests interfered with their security duties. The outlet cited unnamed sources who claimed Patel even berated a team leader when agents refused.

The reaction to the story was swift. FBI spokesperson Ben Williamson said he immediately examined the claim and found it baseless. He stated that the allegation was “1,000% false and did not happen,” emphasising that he spoke with “everyone involved — Alexis, the Director, the Detail, and more,” and that none of them confirmed any part of the report. Williamson also noted that when pressed for evidence, MSNOW declined to provide a date, the name of the friend or any other verifiable details.

Wilkins publicly ridiculed the report, calling it fabricated and saying the narrative was absurd. She pushed back particularly hard against the implication that the situation involved partying, saying she does not drink and accusing the outlet of manufacturing a stereotypical “party girl” story. “Ken’s three sources: the voices in his head,” she wrote, mocking the reporter behind the article.

The controversy comes at a time when Patel has been dealing with heightened public and internal scrutiny, including recent claims — also disputed — that he threw a tantrum in Utah over an FBI-issued jacket. Despite the rising speculation around him, Patel continues to enjoy the backing of President Donald Trump, who has recently offered vocal support for his leadership.

For now, both Wilkins and the FBI have framed the report not as a misunderstanding but as a deliberate fabrication, with no documented evidence to support it.
