After a fight, a Karnataka man runs his wife over and cuts her throat on the road

In a shocking daylight incident in Kalaburagi district, a 28-year-old woman was allegedly killed by her husband, according to police.

The victim, identified as Saanvi, was a native of Maharashtra. Police said the accused, her husband Akshay, took her in a car and forcibly dragged her onto the road, where he attacked her.

Videos that surfaced online reportedly show the accused assaulting Saanvi in public while she cried out for help. The incident was captured by locals on their mobile phones, with bystanders seen recording rather than intervening.

According to police, Saanvi died at the scene due to the severity of her injuries. The accused fled in the vehicle after committing the crime.

Preliminary findings suggest the murder may have been linked to a family dispute, though further details are yet to be established. A case has been registered, and police have launched a manhunt to apprehend the akshay.
