Anthropic has rolled out a significant update to its Claude mobile app, making it easier for users to access work-related tools directly from their phones without needing a laptop.
In a post on X, the company demonstrated how users can now interact with platforms like Figma and Canva through simple prompts within the app.
With this update, users can ask Claude to check analytics on Amplitude, open design files, or even create presentations—all without leaving the app. This effectively brings multiple work functions into a single mobile interface, making it easier to stay productive on the go.
The upgrade positions Claude as a powerful all-in-one tool for professionals and could strengthen Anthropic’s position against competitors like ChatGPT, especially in the enterprise space.
Robert Bye, the company’s Mobile Product Manager, hinted that more features are on the way, stating that several improvements will be introduced in the coming weeks.
Anthropic is also reportedly developing a new feature called “Orbit,” which may allow Claude deeper access to smartphone functions such as scheduling events, sending messages, making calls, managing files, and browsing the web.
Recently, Anthropic has introduced several upgrades, including giving Claude the ability to control a user’s computer remotely to complete tasks. Another addition is an “auto mode” for Claude Code, which enables the AI to handle certain tasks independently without needing user input.
