Trump claims that as the battle escalates quickly, Iran is paying a heavy price

Donald Trump said the ongoing conflict involving Iran is progressing “very rapidly” and praised the capabilities of the United States Armed Forces as Washington continues military operations in the region.

Speaking during a Women’s History Month event at the White House, Trump told attendees that the situation with Iran was moving quickly and that American forces were performing effectively.

According to the US president, the United States military is unmatched in strength and capability. He said Washington was taking the actions it believed were necessary to confront Tehran and address issues that he argued previous administrations had left unresolved for decades.

Trump also criticised Iran’s leadership, describing the country as a state that promotes violence and instability in the region. He said Iran was now “paying a big price” as a result of the ongoing military campaign.

The remarks came amid heightened tensions in the Middle East following joint operations by the United States and Israel against Iranian military infrastructure. The campaign began on February 28 and has since expanded into a broader regional confrontation affecting global energy markets and security dynamics.

Trump also highlighted the military buildup during his earlier presidency, saying that strengthening the armed forces during his first term had contributed to the country’s current ability to respond to crises. He added that although he had not expected to rely heavily on military power, recent global developments had made the strength of the US military particularly important.
