Two individuals lost their lives in Abu Dhabi on Thursday when debris resulting from a missile interception fell onto the ground. As per a communication released by the Jordanian Foreign Ministry, one of those killed was an Indian national, while the other victim was identified as a Pakistani citizen.
The same statement further mentioned that three people sustained injuries during the incident, among whom was a citizen of Jordan.
Jordan strongly condemned the occurrence, characterizing it as an attack carried out by Iran.
In the context of the ongoing escalation involving Iran, Israel, and the United States, several areas across the United Arab Emirates have come under threat. Reports indicate that Iranian drones and missile strikes have targeted multiple sites, including critical energy infrastructure, amid the continuing tensions and hostilities in the region.
