According to reports, the professor expressed his feelings to the student in the classroom, but she immediately objected, resulting in a heated argument.
A video that later surfaced shows the professor telling the student that she had earlier said “I love you” to him, a claim she strongly denied. In the footage, he is also heard announcing that he wanted to propose to “one of the most important girls in the batch,” before naming her, which further escalated the situation.
The student challenged his claims and asked him to take the matter to the principal, stating that the entire class would accompany her. The exchange continued with the professor insisting she had proposed to him and referring to CCTV footage, while the student repeatedly denied it and asked him to provide proof.
As the professor attempted to leave, saying he would speak to her later, the student refused further interaction. Shortly afterward, the situation intensified, with the student and several classmates allegedly assaulting him on campus. Visuals show him being beaten and struck with slippers.
Police later arrived at the college and said they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
