After fighting over his first marriage, a Gujarati guy kills his second wife and dumps her body

A man in Gujarat has been arrested for allegedly murdering his second wife following a domestic dispute rooted in tensions over his previous marriage. The incident occurred in Tankara town of Morbi district, where police were alerted after a woman’s body was found on factory premises, prompting an investigation.

The victim, identified as Shakuben, had reportedly been involved in frequent arguments with her husband, Sanjay, particularly concerning his first wife, Ganga, who had earlier left him along with their children. According to police, these unresolved issues had created an ongoing strain in the relationship, eventually culminating in a violent confrontation on the night of the incident.

During the argument, Sanjay allegedly blamed Shakuben for the breakdown of his first marriage and the separation from his children. In a moment of anger, he is said to have attacked her using a heavy object, inflicting fatal injuries. Authorities believe the assault led to her death at the scene.

After the incident, the accused allegedly attempted to conceal the crime by transporting the body in a rickshaw and dumping it in an acacia bush near a dam, located opposite a temple. The act of disposal was reportedly carried out under pressure, with Sanjay allegedly asking his son to assist him, which the latter refused.

The case came to light when the victim’s son approached the police and reported the incident. He informed officers that his father had confessed to the killing and later followed him, witnessing the disposal of the body. Based on his statement, police recovered the remains and initiated formal proceedings.

A case of murder has been registered, and Sanjay has been taken into custody. The body has been sent for post-mortem examination, and further investigation is ongoing to establish all aspects of the crime.
