In Kullu, Himachal Pradesh, a traveler transporting twenty visitors veers off the road, killing three

At least three tourists were killed after a tourist vehicle plunged off the road near Sojha in Himachal Pradesh’s Kullu district, officials confirmed.

According to police from Banjar, the vehicle was carrying around 20 tourists at the time of the accident. Several passengers sustained injuries, with six to seven individuals reportedly hospitalised after being rescued from the site.

All survivors were shifted to a nearby hospital in Banjar for treatment, while rescue operations were carried out to evacuate those trapped. Deputy Commissioner Kullu Anurag Chandra confirmed the fatalities and said authorities are continuing efforts at the scene.

The incident highlights the risks associated with travel on hilly terrain, where narrow roads and sharp turns often contribute to accidents.

In a similar incident earlier this year, a bus accident in Himachal Pradesh’s Sirmaur district resulted in at least 14 deaths and over 35 injuries after an overloaded vehicle fell into a deep gorge.
