Ranveer Singh meets Mohan Bhagwat at the RSS founder's tomb in Hedgewar

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh visited Nagpur on Friday, where he paid tribute at the memorial of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) founder Keshav Baliram Hedgewar and held interactions with senior members of the organisation.

Arriving from Mumbai on a chartered flight at around 4 pm, Singh proceeded directly to the Hedgewar Smriti Mandir complex in Reshimbagh, a prominent site linked to the RSS. During his visit, he offered respects at the memorial and spent time engaging in discussions with senior functionaries. While the exact nature and content of these conversations were not disclosed, the visit attracted attention due to Singh’s public stature.

According to officials, the actor’s stay in the city was brief. After completing his engagements, he departed for Mumbai later the same evening, around 8 pm. Airport authorities confirmed both his arrival and departure.

In addition to his visit to the memorial, Singh is also reported to have met RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat at the organisation’s headquarters in Nagpur. Bhagwat was present in the city at the time, and sources indicated that the two held a meeting. However, the RSS has not issued any official statement regarding this interaction or its agenda.

While the RSS confirmed Singh’s visit to the Smriti Bhavan in Reshimbagh, the broader purpose behind his trip remains unclear. The visit has generated curiosity across both political and entertainment circles, particularly as it comes amid developments related to his upcoming project “Dhurandhar,” prompting speculation about the context of his engagement.
