The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has begun releasing results for Class 12 students who had applied for post-result services such as verification of marks, obtaining photocopies of evaluated answer sheets, and re-evaluation of responses.
The board said the results are being announced in phases to ensure that all applications are processed carefully and accurately. On the first day of release, CBSE declared outcomes for more than 87 per cent of the total applications received from students across the country, while the remaining cases are still under process and will be updated in subsequent phases.
Students who had applied for these services can check their application status through the DigiLocker results portal, where updated marksheets are also being made available. CBSE stated that the entire process is expected to be completed shortly and advised students to keep checking official platforms for updates rather than relying on unverified information circulating on social media.
According to the board, the verification process allows students to request a review of their total marks, while those seeking more detailed scrutiny can first obtain photocopies of their evaluated answer sheets before applying for re-evaluation of specific answers. CBSE said that all applications are being processed through a structured and monitored system to ensure fairness, accuracy and transparency.
The board also cautioned students and parents against rumours and misinformation regarding results and re-evaluation procedures, urging them to depend only on official communications. It added that support systems and regional offices remain available to assist students facing difficulties in accessing their results or understanding the process.
CBSE further noted that the post-result services platform was developed with technical support from experts associated with the Digital India Corporation, IIT Kanpur and IIT Madras, aimed at ensuring a secure and reliable system. The board reiterated its commitment to completing the phased release of results in a timely manner while maintaining transparency in the evaluation process.
