Pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto 6 are now open. Find out the price, editions, incentives, and other details in India

Rockstar Games has officially opened pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6) worldwide, including in India, starting June 25, 2026. The move comes ahead of the game’s planned release on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X.

The game is already being offered for pre-order through PlayStation and Xbox digital stores, along with select physical retailers in different regions. Indian players can also now reserve their copy alongside global markets.

GTA 6 is being released in two editions. The Standard Edition is priced at ₹5,999 in India and $79.99 in the US, while the Ultimate Edition costs ₹7,499 and $99.99 respectively. The higher price of the Standard Edition already places it above the typical $70 pricing benchmark for major AAA titles.

The Ultimate Edition includes additional in-game content such as exclusive vehicles, outfits, weapons, and bonus material linked to the game’s dual protagonists, Jason and Lucia. Extra content is designed to unlock progressively across the story.

Players who pre-order either edition before November 20 will receive the Vintage Vice City Pack, which includes retro-themed 1980s-style items, along with a one-month GTA+ subscription. Digital buyers will also get early pre-loading access starting November 12.

A notable change for physical copies is that the game will not include a disc at launch. Instead, boxed editions will contain a download code, allowing users to pre-load the game ahead of release.

On the platform side, Sony is positioning the PlayStation 5 as a strong choice for the game. According to the company, GTA 6 will take advantage of the PS5’s SSD for faster loading times, along with DualSense controller features such as haptic feedback and speaker integration, as well as 3D audio support to enhance immersion in the game’s open world.

However, several details remain unconfirmed. A PC version has not yet been announced, and based on Rockstar’s past release patterns, it may arrive well after the console launch, though no timeline has been officially provided.

Rockstar has also clarified that the initial launch will focus on the single-player experience, with GTA Online expected to arrive separately at a later stage.

Users are also being warned about scams circulating online, including fake emails offering early beta access. No official beta program or early access version of the game exists, and players are advised to avoid such claims.
