When his brother delivers another powerful blow, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi responds, Hundreds run in blood

While Indian cricket is still processing the rapid rise of teenage talent Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, another member of his family is already making headlines with the bat. His younger brother, Ashirvad Sooryavanshi, has delivered another impressive innings, adding to the growing buzz around the family’s emerging cricketing talent.

Ashirvad recently scored a rapid 168 off 119 balls in a local match, an innings that quickly spread on social media. Vaibhav, currently part of the Indian squad ahead of the T20I series against Ireland, shared the scorecard on Instagram and praised his brother’s performance.

The knock featured aggressive strokeplay, with 19 fours and six sixes, strengthening Ashirvad’s reputation as an exciting young batter in Bihar’s cricket circles.

This latest century comes shortly after another standout performance, where the 10-year-old scored 103 off 87 balls in a practice match in Samastipur for Cricket Academy Tajpur. In that innings, he struck 20 boundaries and a six before being dismissed.

Back-to-back centuries have sparked growing attention around the youngster, with discussions already beginning about another potential cricketing prospect emerging from the Sooryavanshi family.

Vaibhav is the middle of three brothers, with Ujjwal as the eldest and Ashirvad the youngest. Like Vaibhav, Ashirvad is known for his aggressive batting style and is already undergoing structured training at a young age.

Given Vaibhav’s own rapid rise through domestic cricket and the IPL before joining the Indian squad, comparisons between the brothers have been inevitable. While Vaibhav continues his progression at the highest level, Ashirvad’s recent performances suggest the early signs of another promising cricketing journey.

For now, the attention around the Sooryavanshi family continues to grow as both brothers draw interest from cricket followers across the country.
