Gauri Spratt and Aamir Khan dressed in Sabyasachi attire for their nuptials. A new image

Actor Aamir Khan and his wife, Gauri Spratt, chose outfits designed by Sabyasachi Mukherjee for their intimate wedding ceremony held at their Mumbai home on July 5.

The renowned designer shared a new photograph of the couple from their wedding day on social media.

Aamir, 61, and Gauri, 47, opted for understated yet elegant traditional ensembles for the occasion. Staying true to his signature style, Aamir wore a classic white dhoti paired with a simple kurta and accessorised the look with a statement brooch.

Adding an unconventional touch, the actor also wore a chunky silver anklet with his wedding attire.

Gauri opted for a muted ivory lehenga featuring intricate gold embroidery. She paired it with a matching full-sleeved blouse and dupatta, accessorising with traditional jewellery accented by green gemstones. Her bridal look was completed with a heavy choker, a layered necklace and statement earrings.

She kept her makeup minimal and styled her hair in a braid adorned with fresh flowers.

With their wedding ensembles, Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt joined the list of celebrity couples who have chosen Sabyasachi for their wedding attire, including Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli, and Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif.

The wedding was attended by around 150 guests from the worlds of cinema, business and politics. Among those present were Ashutosh Gowariker, Vir Das, Mukesh Ambani and Raj Thackeray.
