Meta has quietly launched a new AI-powered app called Pocket, which lets users create and share simple interactive games by typing text prompts. The app features a feed where people can browse and play AI-generated experiences, called "gizmos." Pocket was first spotted by reverse engineer Alessandro Paluzzi, although it had already been available on the App Store and Google Play since June 29.
Pocket is based on Gizmo, a startup Meta acquired earlier, whose AI gaming platform had gained over 635,000 downloads. The launch expands Meta's growing AI ecosystem, which already includes AI tools for images, videos and content creation. While Meta has not officially announced Pocket, the app signals the company's move into AI-generated gaming and interactive experiences.
