Hanuman Ansh is maintaining its impressive box-office momentum, with the spiritual drama nearing the Rs 170-crore mark in India gross. As the film completes 33 days in cinemas, its team met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at his official residence in Lucknow. Director Vishal Chaturvedi, the producer and members of the cast visited the Chief Minister and spoke about their experiences of making the spiritual drama.
The Chief Minister’s Office posted pictures from the meeting on its official X handle. During the interaction, the team discussed the film and several key sequences revolving around Neem Karoli Baba and the Nath Sect tradition.
The Nath sect is a Hindu spiritual tradition linked to Lord Shiva and places emphasis on yoga, meditation and ascetic practices.
According to the film’s team, Yogi Adityanath also viewed significant scenes featuring references to Gorakhnath and the Nath Sect. The film portrays the close association between Neem Karoli Baba and saints from the Nath tradition.
Director Vishal Chaturvedi spoke about the depiction of Neem Karoli Baba’s early spiritual journey in the film. He said Neem Karoli Baba spent some of his early years in the company of saints belonging to the Nath tradition.
The filmmaker further claimed that Neem Karoli Baba acquired spiritual and divine powers through his association with Nath saints. These elements play an important role in Hanuman Ansh, which traces Neem Karoli Baba’s spiritual life and journey.
The meeting also allowed the cast members to share their experiences of working on the film with the Chief Minister. The team described their interaction with Yogi Adityanath and the discussion surrounding the film as a memorable and significant occasion.
