Popular Telugu YouTuber Ramanandam, better known as Nandana, was detained at Hyderabad's Shamshabad Airport after immigration officials found that a Look-Out Notice had been issued against her in connection with an alleged overseas job fraud case.
Nandana was stopped shortly after arriving from the United States on Emirates flight EK-520. Immigration officials took her to the airport police outpost for further questioning.
A case was registered against Nandana and her husband at the Ibrahimpatnam Police Station in Andhra Pradesh's Vijayawada district on November 22, 2025.
The couple has been accused of allegedly collecting large amounts of money from people after promising to arrange jobs for them in London. The Look-Out Notice was issued to ensure that Nandana did not evade the investigation and to alert authorities if she entered or tried to leave the country.
After detaining her, immigration officials informed the Ibrahimpatnam police and completed the necessary formalities for her handover. A police team from the station, including a woman Sub-Inspector, then took custody of Nandana and transported her from the airport outpost in a special vehicle.
The investigation is continuing to establish the number of people who were allegedly cheated, the total amount of money collected and whether any other individuals were involved in the suspected fraud network.
