Bhojpuri actor-politician Manoj Tiwari is set to make a return to Bigg Boss 20, but he will not be competing as a contestant this time. Instead, his daughter and musician Rhiti Tiwari will enter the Salman Khan-hosted reality show. A newly released promo for the season, which premieres on September 6, introduces Rhiti as a contestant and features Manoj joining her for a special appearance.
The promo opens with Manoj taking the stage and singing his popular song Rinkiya Ke Papa. Salman Khan then jokes about his return to Bigg Boss. Manoj, who previously participated in Bigg Boss 4, explains that he has come only to accompany his daughter. Rhiti subsequently joins him on stage and performs.
The Partner actor then offers Rhiti some advice about life inside the house. He tells her, “Ghar ke andar, ande lo lekar kabhi fight nahi karna (Do not fight over eggs when inside the house).” He follows it up with, “Ae baap pe mat jaana (Don’t talk about my father),” prompting Manoj to smile and cover his face. Rhiti responds with a joke involving the word ‘baap’, leaving both Manoj and Salman laughing.
Salman’s reference to eggs recalls Manoj’s memorable altercation with Dolly Bindra during Bigg Boss 4. The two had an argument over breakfast after Manoj asked for an omelette, while Dolly told him to finish the leftover food first. Their heated exchange eventually became a popular meme, with Manoj saying, “Kitchen kisi ke baap ka nahi hai (The kitchen doesn't belong to anyone's father),” to which Dolly famously responded, “Baap pe bolna nahi.”
Bigg Boss 20, hosted by Salman Khan, will premiere on September 6. The show will stream on JioHotstar at 9 PM, while its television broadcast on Colors TV will begin at 10:30 PM.
The show's makers have been unveiling a series of promos ahead of the premiere, offering hints about the contestants. Names reportedly associated with the season include Badshah’s estranged wife Isha Rikhi, Aamir Khan’s brother Faisal Khan, Karan Wahi’s former partner Uditi Singh, Kushal Tanwar, Qazi Touqeer, Yung DSA, Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Showik Chakraborty and Khushi Dubey. Boxing champion Mary Kom has also been rumoured to be part of the lineup.
Meanwhile, viewers have also been given glimpses of the new Bigg Boss house, which combines contemporary design with unusual fantasy-inspired elements. Drawing inspiration from Alice in Wonderland, the house features a shark-themed swimming pool, a giant pink teapot that transitions into a couch and a hot-air balloon converted into a seating space. The new setup also includes two secret rooms and 104 cameras, ensuring contestants are closely monitored throughout their time in the house.
