To prevent theft, a Bihar man uses a crane to raise a brand-new SUV to the rooftop on the second floor

A man in Bihar found an unusual way to safeguard his newly bought Mahindra Scorpio Classic from theft by using a crane to lift the SUV onto the second floor of his home in Gopalganj.

A video showing the vehicle being hoisted into the air and carefully placed on the rooftop has gone viral on social media.

In the brief clip, the SUV can be seen hanging from a crane as it is slowly lifted towards the roof of the two-storey house. It is then cautiously lowered onto the rooftop.

The SUV is owned by Manoj Yadav, who recently purchased the vehicle. Yadav works in Israel and had left the car with a driver while he was away. However, the driver later left, prompting concerns within the family about the vehicle’s security.
