A video showcasing Kerala government's newly launched high-end bus service has gone viral on social media. Shared by vlogger Ajay Johny, the clip provides a look at the bus's premium interiors and range of passenger amenities.
Operated by the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC), the service aims to offer passengers a flight-like experience while travelling by road.
In the Instagram video, Ajay takes viewers through the bus and highlights the facilities available to passengers travelling between Thiruvananthapuram and Kochi. Depending on the route, the journey covers approximately 200-227 km.
“Now the business class facility is not only for international flights but also for Kerala KSRTC buses,” Ajay says in the video.
The bus comes equipped with plush leather seats and individual entertainment screens, enhancing the premium travel experience. Passengers are also provided with free Wi-Fi, while charging ports at their seats allow them to keep their electronic devices powered during the journey.
A hostess is also available onboard to assist passengers. The video shows her serving refreshments, including hot beverages and a shawarma roll, adding to the service's upscale experience.
Another standout feature is the onboard bathroom. The video offers a glimpse of the washroom inside the bus, which appears clean and well maintained, providing added convenience during the journey between the two cities.

The video was also shared on X by Ananth Rupanagudi, Chief Project Manager with Indian Railways, who praised the service.
