When are tickets for Ranbir's film Ramayana Part 1 available

The makers of Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana: Part One have put an end to uncertainty surrounding the film’s theatrical release, confirming its worldwide launch date and when advance ticket bookings will begin. The announcement was accompanied by a new poster featuring the lead cast, clarifying the film’s release strategy.

The confirmation comes after several conflicting indications about the project’s schedule. An international trailer had suggested a different release date, producer Namit Malhotra had previously mentioned a Diwali release in India, and reports had also pointed to paid previews before the main opening. The latest announcement has now clarified the plans.

In an Instagram post on Sunday, October 11, the makers announced that the film would arrive in cinemas worldwide on November 5 in all premium formats. They also confirmed that advance bookings would open on Dussehra.

The post read: "On the auspicious occasion of Navratri, we celebrate the beginning of a new era. This is the beginning of Ram’s era. Namit Malhotra’s Ramayana Part 1: In cinemas worldwide, across all premium formats, from 5 November. Advance bookings open on Dussehra (sic)."

What caused the confusion?

The announcement resolves questions about the film’s theatrical rollout, confirming that Ramayana: Part One will release worldwide on November 5. The uncertainty began after the international trailer, distributed by Sony Pictures, initially announced November 6 as the global release date. Malhotra had earlier said that the film was being planned for a Diwali release in India.

Reports had also suggested that the film might open in Indian theatres on November 5, with paid preview screenings scheduled for November 4.
