Bharat is on the side of peace: Jaishankar on Russia-Ukraine battle at UNGA


In his speech to the high-level UN General Assembly (UNGA) session at the USA or United Nations, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar summoned peace and the necessity to end the Russia-Ukraine war via diplomacy. 

Jaishankar said about the Russia-Ukraine battle problem and stated that India is on the flank of peace and will stay firmly there.

Talking to the 77th UN General Assembly, Jaishankar stated, “We are often asked whose side we are on. And our response, each time, is straightforward and honest. India is on the side of equilibrium and will stay firmly there.”

“We are on the side that appreciates the UN Charter and its founding principles," he said, repeating India's stand on the continued Russia-Ukraine dispute,” Jaishankar proclaimed.
