Man from Bengaluru who threw money worth Rs. 3,000 from a flyover was arrested

On Tuesday morning, residents of Bengaluru's City Market neighborhood couldn't believe what they were seeing. From the flyover, they observed rupee notes worth 10 rupees falling on them. When individuals realized the notes were genuine, they stopped thinking it was a joke and rushed to collect the money. The incident also has a cinematic feel.

A wall clock hung around the neck of the man who was hurling the cash from the flyover while wearing a suit. He rode up on a two-wheeler and stopped it on the overpass at around 10.45 am. He was identified as Arun, also known as Anchor Arun. He then began tossing money notes from the flyover after digging inside a paper bag he was carrying for them.

His action quickly attracted the interest of the flyover commuters as well. Others were at their wit's end, while some stopped and asked him for the money. Arun started his bike and sped off after a short while. The City Market police tracked him down after a video of the event went viral on social media. Arun informed the authorities that he is the founder and CEO of Vdot9events.com when he was interrogated.

Arun further disclosed to the police his work as a business consultant, motivational speaker, owner of a YouTube channel, and first event blogger in Karnataka. Arun, a Nagarabavi native, vowed to tell everything when the time is perfect but declined to speak to the media.

He claimed he had done it out of goodwill. According to the authorities, he threw at least 3,000 rupees in cash. He has been charged by the police with obstructing or posing a threat to a public way, producing a nuisance, and violating the Karnataka Police Act. To learn the motivation behind his actions, the authorities are questioning him more.
