A 16-year-old student was allegedly sexually assaulted by a female teacher at Nixa High School in Missouri in exchange for giving him excellent grades. For allegedly acting inappropriately toward a youngster, the accused instructor is also charged with at least 7 sex crimes.
The reported event allegedly occurred in October of last year. The victim informed the investigators that the defendant, Lena Stewart (26), had been forgiving of him in class.
The young child claimed he didn't need to put much effort into getting an "A" and was concerned that if he didn't accede to her sexual demands, he would receive lower grades. The victim further disclosed to the police that he and the teacher had met at the homes of their friends on two separate occasions and had had sex.
The Nixa High School administration placed Stewart on administrative leave in December after learning about the event. According to the Nixa School District, every claim of improper behavior is taken very seriously.
The school administration further stated that they would completely cooperate with any requests made of them and that they would undertake their inquiry in conjunction with the proper authorities.
