In Telangana, a 5-year-old was killed by a stray dog twice in a month

 


In Telangana's Khammam district, a 5-year-old boy lost his life after being mauled by a stray dog while playing outside on the streets. In less than a month, there have been two dog attacks.

While being transported to a hospital for treatment, the kid apparently passed away from his injuries.

Banoth Bharath, a resident of Putani Thanda in Raghunadhapalem Mandal, was attacked by a stray dog when he was playing outside on the streets. He received major blood injuries and was taken to a private hospital. Sadly, Bharath passed away en route to the hospital.

At a Hyderabad housing community last month, street dogs attacked a 4-year-old youngster to death. A day later, in a comparable event, a group of stray dogs attacked another 4-year-old youngster in the city, inflicting injuries.

A high-level conference was also presided over by the Hyderabad civic authority in light of two brutal dog attacks that were recorded in the city within a 24-hour period.

Arvind Kumar, IAS, the Telangana Government's Special Chief Secretary, had instructed the officials to pay particular attention to managing stray dogs and take steps on a war footing to prevent such incidences in the confines of GHMC and other municipalities.
