The majority of Hindus in India adore Indian exile and Islamic preacher Zakir Naik, who gave his first lecture on "The Quran is a Universal Need" in Oman. He reportedly said that while speaking on Thursday, the first day of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre.
"The issue is that I'm quite popular among Hindus in India. They adore me to such an extent that the vote bank is suffering as a result. When I give presentations and have meetings in India, there are hundreds of thousands of people—between 50 and 100 million—especially in Bihar and Kishanganj. Of them, 20% are non-Muslims, according to Zakir Naik.
The Islamic preacher continued, "When they talk to me, they tell Zakir Bhai what we learned in the previous two hours (of his lecture), we haven't learned after 40 hours of lectures on our religion.
⚠️ #ZakirNaik Ikhwani was invited to #Oman 🇴🇲 to talk about Islam, BUT he tactfully used the opportunity to attack and defame #India 🇮🇳 and its Government.

While the ED was attempting to seize his possessions in 2018, Zakir Naik recounted how a "Sikh judge," Manmohan Singh, claimed he saw nothing "objectionable" in his talks.
Justice Manmohan Singh, who presided over the PMLA (Prevention of Money Laundering Act) Appellate Tribunal in New Delhi, had stopped the ED from seizing Naik's properties after the agency had attached them in January 2018. He also drew comparisons between Naik and self-styled spiritual leader Asaram Bapu.
"Thank God, Manmohan Singh, for a Sikh, was the judge in the Indian court who made the statement when they tried to attach all of my properties. He had fortunately seen a lot of my speeches. If you can find one statement by Dr. Zakir Naik in a lecture where he advocates for terrorism, he said to the government's solicitor, I'll seize all of his property "said Zakir Naik.
"I can think of ten Babas who have assets totaling more than Re 10,000 crore apiece and are being prosecuted on criminal charges. Have you ever attempted to harm one of them? How did you respond to Asaram Bapu?" Singh questioned the ED's solicitor.
According to videos posted on social media, Zakir Nair converted a Hindu woman from India to Islam during his presentation in Muscat. He also read her some verses from the Quran and requested her to repeat them. The validity of these films cannot be independently confirmed by TheSwipeUp, though.
