Alok Maurya, the husband of PCS Officer Jyoti Maurya, claims a Jyothi has affair

A senior female PCS officer assigned to the Bareilly area has been accused of cheating on her husband and of posing a threat to his life. The sources state that Jyoti Maurya, who is currently the general manager of a Semikhera sugar mill, wed Alok Maurya, a sanitation worker, 13 years ago. Alok has, however, recently asserted that his wife is having an affair.

Alok Kumar Maurya claimed that his wife was having an extramarital affair with Manish Dubey, the Ghaziabad-based Home Guard Commandant. He said that he had observed both of them acting improperly in February at his wife's official apartment. Alok asserts that Jyoti threatened to murder him if he filed for divorce from her over the phone.

The pair wed in 2010, according to media sources. After their marriage, Jyoti expressed a wish to continue her education. After moving to Prayagraj, Jyoti began studying for the civil service examinations. Jyoti Maurya was chosen for the position of SDM in 2016 after placing 16th in the PCS test conducted by the UP Public Service Commission in 2015. Jyoti worked in the districts of Kaushambi, Pratapgarh, Jaunpur, and Lucknow before her assignment at Bareilly.

Jyoti has allegedly received bribes, according to Alok. Alok presented evidence of the corruption and demanded that his wife be punished. Along with the complaint, the husband also provided the police with a WhatsApp conversation between his wife and her lover.
