In West Bengal's Bankura, two freight trains collide, causing numerous bogies to derrail

At Bankura's Onda railway station in West Bengal on Sunday morning, two goods trains collided. Several train bogies derailed as a result of the accident. Safety officer Dibakar Majhi at Onda station states, "According to preliminary information, one of the goods trains was standing when it was struck by the other goods train."

Officials claim that train service on the Kharagpur-Bankura-Adra route has been suspended.

South Eastern Railway officials said that 14 trains were canceled, 3 were diverted, and 2 were short-terminated as a result of the freight train derailing at Onda station.
