With the release of "Adipurush," the movie has entered the discussion. Actor Prabhas, a superstar in Telugu cinema, is in this movie. This movie was made with a 500 crore budget by director Om Raut. Adipurush, which is based on the classic Ramayana, shows Lord Rama and Mother Sita fleeing and Rama fighting Ravana. The audience's passion for the movie was not enough to make the movie theatre experience very enjoyable. This is the Ramayana adaptation of cinema that differs the most from the others so far. 01. Storyline before the exile
Commence at the beginning. The exile of Ram, alias Raghav, Janaki (Sita), and Shesh (Laxman) is where the tale of "Adipurush" begins. There is no footage in the movie of Ram's birth, his mother, King Dasaratha's sadness after Ram was exiled, or Bharat's love for his brother. Ram's triumphant return after the conflict is likewise not depicted. Apart from a sequence starring King Dashrath and Kaikeyi, the tale of the first half of the Ramayana is not depicted in the movie, hence the characters are not visible. There has only been gold work done in this Lanka; it is not made of gold. The palace of Ravana in Lanka is dark. It is all black, inside and out. Lanka's possessions are also all black. Even Ashok Vatika, which has no resemblance to a garden at all, is constructed out of black stone. There are cherry blossom trees planted in Ashok Vatika, but there aren't any other trees or plants there. In Lanka, even the river and pond water is dark. All inhabitants of Lanka and Ravana dress entirely in black. However, this Kali Lanka is said to only be made of "gold" in the movie.
04. Character defects
The details have also been changed by "Adipurush." Ravana's appearance is always being discussed. Everyone finds Ravana's faux hawk hairdo to be an odd sight. But what's really stranger is seeing him riding a Bat Vimana rather than a Pushpak Vimana. Ravana, a follower of Shiva, also used to destroy Rudraksha. The Janaki woodland residents' clothing is likewise a peculiar color. Instead of giving Bajrang a bangle as her token, Janaki gives him a bangle.
05. Error in the stone that created Ram Setu
Ram-named stones were used in its construction, hence the name Ram Setu. 'Adipurush' does not depict this. Raghav's name was not written on the stones that were tossed into the lake during the movie.
06. Janaki on the field of battle?
When Janaki is brought to the battlefield by Ravana and Indrajit, it is yet another scenario from Janaki that will leave you speechless. Ravana and Indrajit meet Raghav when he arrives in Lanka and challenge him. The war has not yet begun. Both of them are with Janaki, who is restrained by fetters. Following this, Janaki is let free by Ravana, and she sprints ferociously in the direction of Raghav. When the two finally cross paths, however, Indrajit cuts Janaki's throat. Later it is discovered that she was an illusionary demon created by Ravana and not the real mother of Janaki. This entire episode was quite bizarre and dissimilar to the actual Ramayana plot.
07. Janki on the front lines once more?
A scenario with Janaki, who plays the part of Sita, is likewise unclear, similar to the omission in Ram Setu. In the movie "Adipurush," Janaki herself finds Raghav on the battlefield after he has won. They embrace, and everything gets better.
08. Dialogues in Atrangi by Adipurush
'Adipurush's' talks are likewise on a different level.
