Tesla will invest in India, according to Elon Musk, who recognizes as a fan of Modi

 


Tuesday in New York, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with Elon Musk, the owner of Twitter. The Prime Minister is in the United States for three days. Elon Musk stated his intention to travel to India after meeting with PM Modi and promised to do so in 2019.

As he lauded the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, Musk also referred to himself as a "fan of Modi". "I am tremendously optimistic about India's future. At the Lotte New York Palace Hotel, he declared, "I believe that India has more promise than any other significant country in the world.

"I can tell that he genuinely wants to do what is right for India. He desires to be welcoming and encouraging of emerging businesses. I support Modi," he continued. The Tesla CEO described his meeting with PM Modi as an "excellent" one.

Tesla, the renowned electric vehicle (EV) company, will soon invest in India, according to Elon Musk in an exclusive conversation with India Today's News Director Rahul Kanwal. He added that he has previously requested extra incentives for investing in the nation.

During the meeting, according to a tweet from PM Modi, he discussed a variety of topics, from energy to spirituality.

Elon Musk responded, "He (PM Modi) truly cares about India because he is pushing us to make major investments in India, which is something we intend to do when asked about the meeting's important takeaways. The best timing is still being determined.

Additionally, he stated that he intended to introduce Starlink, a SpaceX broadband internet service, to India. Musk claimed it might benefit those without internet connectivity in remote areas.

In New York, PM Modi also had meetings with American astronomer Neil DeGrasse Tyson, academic Nassim Nicholas Taleb, writer Robert Thurman, and financier Ray Dalio.

At the invitation of US President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden, PM Modi will be in the country from June 21 to 24.

He is planning to meet with around two dozen influential thinkers, including Nobel laureates, economists, artists, scientists, intellectuals, business owners, academicians, and professionals from the health sector.
