The BMC announced that all elementary, intermediate, and higher secondary schools, as well as colleges, in the city and suburbs of Mumbai, will be closed on July 27, 2023, in accordance with the order of municipal commissioner Iqbal Singh Chahal.

The BMC urged residents to remain vigilant and heed any guidance given by the authorities.
