Rahul Gandhi can hardly speak in Parliament today because Prime Minister Amit Shah is not present

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is unlikely to address parliament on Tuesday as the House of Commons debates a motion of no confidence against the NDA government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The party decided to delay Rahul Gandhi's speech because Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah were not present in parliament.

Rahul Gandhi is credited with initiating the debate over the vote of no confidence in parliament. However, Congress later decided to disqualify MP Gaurav Gogoi because of that.

According to party sources, Congress will announce the timing of Rahul Gandhi's speech just three hours earlier. Responding to the changes to the speaker order of the National Assembly, BJP MP Nishikant Dubey said: "Perhaps Rahul Gandhi woke up late."

"Maybe Rahul Gandhi wasn't ready today or maybe he got up late. Gaurav Gogoi said it very well. I was a victim of turbulent times in Manipur. My uncle suffered there and got injured." , the BJP leader said.

Starting the debate of no confidence in Lok Sabha earlier today, Gaurav Gogoi said the Indian opposition bloc had been forced to bring up a motion of no confidence against the government to break the 'oath of silence' ' of Prime Minister Modi towards Manipur. He alleges that a government talking about "one India has created two Manipurs - one living in the hills and the other living in the valley".

"Why did he (Prime Minister Modi) take about 80 days to talk about Manipur and only say 30 seconds? After that, there was no call for peace from him about Manipur. The ministers said they would give a speech. , but as prime minister, his power of speech cannot be matched by ministers. Through a move of no confidence, we want to break his oath of silence," Gogoi said. Lok Sabha started discussing the motion of no confidence in the morning.
