3 people were killed in a truck-car crash in Sirohi, Rajasthan


Tragedy struck in the Sirohi district of Rajasthan on a fateful Sunday when a car tragically collided with a truck, resulting in the unfortunate demise of three individuals, including two women, as reported by the police.

The sorrowful incident unfolded within the jurisdiction of the Abu Road Sadar police station area, precisely when the car was en route to Shivganj, as elucidated by law enforcement authorities.

The sheer force of the collision exacted an immediate toll, claiming the life of the car's driver, Hiralal, aged 35, who succumbed to his injuries on the spot. Additionally, two women, identified as Leela Bai (65) and Prachi (19), both hailing from Pune, Maharashtra, lost their lives while undergoing treatment at a hospital, according to the account provided by Station House Officer (SHO) Praveen Archay.

In the aftermath of the collision, the truck involved in the incident careened into a nearby ditch, while the driver successfully managed to evade apprehension, noted the SHO.

The bodies of the deceased have been securely stored in a mortuary, awaiting a subsequent post-mortem examination, which is slated to be conducted upon the arrival of the victim's family members, expected to take place on Monday, as specified by the SHO.
