500 businessmen, including Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani, plan to attend

India's most affluent entrepreneurs, spearheaded by billionaires Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani, are set to rendezvous with G20 leaders for an exclusive dinner in the nation's capital this coming Saturday. This gathering underscores India's position as the globe's swiftest-growing major economy.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has strategically aimed to capitalize on India's role within the G20, an assembly of the world's most influential economies, in order to establish India as an alluring hub for trade and investment, particularly in light of China's decelerating economic growth.

Anticipated attendees at this assembly in New Delhi encompass US President Joe Biden, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.

A grand total of 500 business luminaries have been extended invitations, including notable figures such as Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran, Chairman of the Aditya Birla Group Kumar Mangalam Birla, Founder-Chairman of Bharti Airtel Sunil Mittal, as well as Mukesh Ambani of Reliance Industries and Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, as reported by Reuters, citing two reliable sources.

An Indian official, in conversation with the news agency, articulated, "This dinner... will be attended by various world leaders and offers a platform to convene India's business elite during the leaders' summit."

It's important to highlight that neither Chinese President Xi Jinping nor Russian President Vladimir Putin will be gracing the weekend summit with their presence.

The Saturday evening gathering will furnish Prime Minister Narendra Modi with yet another avenue to showcase the business and investment prospects that India has to offer.

The event is scheduled to take place at an impressive, state-of-the-art venue with an estimated worth of $300 million, fashioned in the likeness of a conch shell. The menu is expected to feature Indian cuisine with a particular focus on millet, a grain championed by the nation.

Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani have maintained a competitive edge across diverse industries, ranging from telecommunications and media to energy and finance. Both have taken turns at the pinnacle of Asia's wealthiest individuals.
