On November 3, Vinod Kamble's "Kastoori" will be released in theaters


The eagerly awaited film 'Kastoori,' which secured the prestigious National Award for Best Children's Film in 2019, is scheduled for a theatrical release on November 3. This emotionally charged movie is presented to the audience through the collaborative efforts of two illustrious filmmakers, Anurag Kashyap and Nagraj Manjule, and is being distributed by the proficient Cinepolis Distribution team.

'Kastoori,' also known as 'The Musk' in English, delves into the life of a 14-year-old boy who is embroiled in manual scavenging and post-mortem procedures. He grapples with societal prejudice and endures ridicule due to the odor associated with his work. The film artfully narrates his journey as he encounters the fragrance of Kastoori and embarks on a quest for education and self-discovery.

Anurag Kashyap, a renowned filmmaker, extolled the significance of this movie, deeming it an "important film of our times."
