Union Home Minister Amit Shah criticized the Congress Party, characterizing it as a party associated with "cut, commission, and corruption." Furthermore, he expressed his disapproval of the opposition INDIA alliance, contending that 27 parties have come together primarily to serve their individual interests.
In his remarks at the "Antyodaya Sammelan" event organized by the Haryana government, Shah congratulated the Manohar Lal Khattar-led administration for its comprehensive efforts to develop the state. He credited the BJP government in Haryana with eliminating corruption, and nepotism, and enhancing law and order during the past nine years.
Amit Shah emphasized the BJP's commitment to the welfare of the people and its work for their benefit. He listed a range of initiatives and schemes initiated by the Narendra Modi government, urging the public to support the BJP in the upcoming general elections. During the event, Shah, alongside Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and other dignitaries, unveiled five schemes designed for 'Antyodaya' families.
Shah directed criticism towards Bhupinder Hooda, a senior leader of the Haryana Congress, questioning whether the development that transpired in the past nine years under the BJP was apparent, or if some individuals remained oblivious to it. According to Shah, the Congress neither contributed to Haryana's nor the nation's development.
Amit Shah characterized the Congress as a party associated with cutbacks, commissions, and corruption, and claimed that its symbol, the hand, does not represent the interests of the people of Haryana.
He described the INDIA alliance as an "arrogant" coalition and alleged that all 27 constituent parties of the opposition alliance are "dynastic." According to Shah, each of these parties is rooted in dynastic politics, with various leaders attempting to secure positions for their sons, make their sons prime ministers, protect their sons from legal agencies, or promote their sons to chief ministerial roles. He questioned whether such leaders can genuinely serve the people's interests.
Amit Shah also criticized the Congress Party's stance on the Ram Temple issue. He alleged that for decades following India's independence, the Congress obstructed the construction of the Ram Temple and kept the matter unresolved. Shah credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi with laying the temple's foundation and announced that the idol of Lord Ram Lalla would be consecrated in the grand temple on January 22.
