Congress publishes Rahul Gandhi's "brave" moment from the security breach in Parliament

Congress National Spokesperson Supriya Shrinate took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a compelling image showcasing party MP Rahul Gandhi standing resolute inside the Lok Sabha chambers amid a tumultuous situation caused by intruders releasing yellow gas. This snapshot, conveying a powerful message of steadfastness, captures a moment when chaos unfolded within Parliament.

Accompanying the photograph, Shrinate's caption not only reassured, "Don't be afraid," but also emphasized that the leader demonstrated courage not just through words but through tangible actions. The image was further described as a depiction of the leader standing with a pumped chest during the parliamentary uproar.

The disarray in Lok Sabha transpired on the same day when two individuals leaped from the public gallery into the area designated for MPs. These intruders, identified as Sagar Sharma and Manoranjan D., discharged yellow gas from canisters and vocalized slogans. Swiftly, they were subdued by fellow MPs, including Rahul Gandhi.

Remarkably, the visitor pass for Sagar Sharma bore the name of BJP MP Pratap Simha, adding a layer of complexity to the incident. Simultaneously, outside Parliament premises, a man and a woman, identified as Anmol and Neelam, unleashed colored gas from canisters while chanting slogans.

In the aftermath of the security breach, all four individuals involved, including the duo outside Parliament, were apprehended. This incident notably coincided with the anniversary of a terrorist attack that occurred more than two decades ago.

Initial findings from the investigation suggest that the four detainees were acquainted with each other, having established connections on social media. Their collaborative plan, as per sources, underscores the premeditated nature of the breach, shedding light on the interconnectedness of these individuals and the calculated orchestration of the entire episode.
