Man charged with making an inflammatory statement against a Tamil Nadu MP in a parliament security breach

An individual in Tamil Nadu is currently facing police scrutiny due to a social media post related to the recent Parliament security breach. The user, identified as 'Sanghi Prince,' is under investigation for allegedly disseminating misinformation and attributing responsibility for the incident to DMK MP Senthilkumar.

Praveen Raj, using the 'Sanghi Prince' pseudonym on a platform now deleted, asserted in the post: "Security Breach happened in Lok Sabha. You know why? Because of irresponsible MPs like you were distributing "visitor passes" via social media for publicity and without background verification (sic)." He also called for the DMK MP to "take responsibility."

In response to a complaint filed by Arokyadas, a lawyer alleging false comments against Senthilkumar, the police initiated an investigation. The complainant accused Praveen Raj from Namakkal of making baseless remarks blaming Dharmapuri DMK MP Senthil Kumar for the Parliament security breach.

Consequently, charges were filed under Section 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace), Section 505(1)(b) (with intent to cause, or likely to cause, fear or alarm to the public) of the IPC, and Section 66 (Computer related offenses) of the IT Act. The investigation into the matter is ongoing.

Regarding the Parliament security breach incident, two individuals, Sagar Sharma, and Manoranjan D, breached security by entering the Lok Sabha chamber and releasing yellow-colored smoke canisters. Chaos ensued in the Lok Sabha, and two others, Amol Shinde and Neelam, staged a protest outside Parliament, releasing cans emitting colored gas. Six individuals, including Sagar Sharma, Manoranjan D, Amol Shinde, Neelam, and Lalit Jha (believed to be the mastermind), have been arrested in connection with the incident.
