Man kills mother in Haryana after being refused Rs 5,000 and takes body in bag to Uttar Pradesh

On December 13, a distressing incident unfolded in Haryana's Hisar district as a 21-year-old man, identified as Himanshu, allegedly committed matricide by strangling his mother. The tragic event transpired following a heated dispute over financial matters, specifically a demand for Rs 5,000 that the accused had made to his mother, who adamantly refused to comply.

Reportedly hailing from Bihar, Himanshu's confrontation with his mother escalated, culminating in the alleged act of strangulation. In the aftermath of the heinous act, Himanshu resorted to a macabre plan to conceal his crime. He proceeded to confine his mother's lifeless body within the confines of a suitcase, displaying a callous disregard for the sanctity of human life.

Adding another layer of complexity to this grim narrative, Himanshu embarked on a train journey to Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj with the sinister objective of disposing of the deceased's remains. However, his plans were thwarted when vigilant law enforcement officers on patrol apprehended him in the act.

The unfolding investigation has shed light on the background of the accused and his living arrangements. Himanshu, along with his mother, had recently relocated to a rented room in Haryana's Hisar, according to information provided by their landlady. The property had been acquired by the landlady approximately six months prior, and the mother-son duo had only been residents for a week.

Corroborating evidence from CCTV footage in the vicinity revealed Himanshu surreptitiously placing an unidentified item inside an auto, further fueling the ongoing inquiries into the case. As the authorities delve deeper into this tragic incident, the details surrounding the motive and circumstances leading up to the alleged matricide are expected to be unveiled.
